Ok, I double-clicked on eq and waited for the patcher to finish, ok sais I need eqtheme.mp3, so start downloading that, then it cant because of whatever reason. So I go into the EQ directory and try and delete the file to create another and it wont let me because its corrupted or unreadable. So just because of this one file I cant play eq!!! what should I do?!

Failing that, try restarting and press F8 and see if you can get into command prompt mode. If so, delete it from there. If not, try deleting it from safe mode.
If that still won't work, try renaming the file and re-downloading a copy.
If that still won't work, run disk defragmenter and attempt to remove it after that.

Run an error check on your hard drive.
Double click "My computer"
Right click the drive where EQ is installed and select "Properties"
Click on the "Tools" tab
Click on the "Check Now" button
Make sure the "automatically fix" check box is marked
Start the test.
Afterwards, delete the file again and repatch. Good luck and let us know what the results are.
