Ok, so im stupid, i know. I was bored so i was doing some neeb quests and i was just walking and talking to people and i went to the preast of discord in Qeynos. i talked to him and i got the book for PvP. I asked my guild if it was ok yes to be PvP and they said, "yea its for the area now and only the area"..........no dude, its not and i found it out the hard way. now i cant get buffed and im all alone (tear). is there anything i can do other then contact a gm/ and if i do, does anyone know the process i will go through to get un-PvPed????

You'll have to petition. Once upon a time, you couldn't change it. Actually, my old copy of the guide policies says players may not be flagged back from PvP because it could allow them to engage in PvP actions without repercussions. However, later GM's used to make players go through some quest to change their status, etc. These days I'd bet you can petition and get changed on the spot, just to move you on along and out of the GM's hair Smiley: wink

Yeah, I think they just change it these days because no one.. as in no one goes PvP on a blue server for PvP purposes. Maybe to get a spiffy red name for their Bazaar trader or a throw-away newbie fight as a guild event, but not as a permanent player choice.

Petitions are cleared whenever there's a patch. Since there was one last night, you'll need to re-petition when you log in today.

At one point in time on a blue server you could hail again get the book again and hand it in and it would remove your toon from PVP however, i havent tried that again in the 5yrs ago that i myself did it.

wow! thanks for that little piece of info cause i didnt know that. lol. il re-pitition today and see what happens. Asumming the gm changes me, is it as simple as, "ok.......done!" or will i have to restart the game or do this or that or the other?

If the GM changes you, it'll be an "Ok, you're done!" (be it immediately or after jumping through hoops). No restarting your character will be necessary.

Depending on your level, it might be easier to just restart, but if you don't want to, don't do it. I've no idea what level you are, but while lvl 15 might be a quick trip for me, for some people it represents a month and a half's work and a lot of pride.

You think that is bad,

My kid not only made one of my toons PVP but then went to BAZAAR and got the trader bags and zoned out.

SO, not only was he PVP but he was 1200 lbs OVER weight and could not move.

I made him do the /petition and sit and wait 4hours for the GM.

They fixed it with no issues.

Heheh... That's why you shouldn't let the kid get his grubby hands on your account! Good job with the lesson though... ;)

You know it's spelled petition, right?

Just saying you can type /pitition until the cows come home, but nobody will ever answer you. Smiley: tongue
