Hi Everyone, I just wanted to post this info because there are soo many new people playing the game of EQ, It has kinda become a problem for them to learn all the little incidentals in the game without having to ask a million questions to a bunch of strangers, who may or may not respond. There is a new Group on the Povar Server that will help you with these types of problems. You should check it out. The people here are very kind, and always willing to help out those of us who will always have a new question about the game. The Name of this group is EQ Pals, the web address is:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Everquest_Pals

This group has live chats regularly scheduled twice a week, and they also have NooB groups regularly scheduled twice a week. This is an EQ information website, not a technical problem site. So please be aware of this if you should decide to visit there...Go See what your missing.....

That's a nice idea. You should start a cross-server chat channel to provide in-game help too :)

I just wanted to tell a little more about this group. I am a member of this group and would really like to get the word out that it is there to help you. The website of this group has a lot of information & links, and lists all our 175 members. It also has a database section that shows the names classes and levels of the NooB Povar Group members. Group membership is now open to new applicants. There is one requirement to be in the NooB Povar Group, you must create a new character with the first two letters of the name EQ. This is how they recognize their players. The group is dedicated to teaching the new players how to play the game from lvl 0. The players in the group can be new or not so new to the game. I have played for 4 years, and still don't know all there is to know about the game. There are even some players that can PL you, if this is how you want to level for a few levels. This is done by appointment only usually. And comes with the warning that if you are PLing someone, please inform them that their other skills are not gaining as rapidly as their levels are, so they need to practice these as much as possible too. We discuss our game strategy at our weekly live chat sessions and arrange what we are going to do that week in the group sessions. So if you would like to learn the game in a more organized manner, and have fun with other like minded people come on over and join us. You will find the link to this site in my original post this morning....Have Fun...See you There.
