Scavenger Hunt Help on XEVFollow

#1 Apr 06 2004 at 12:19 AM Rating: Decent
Is there someone on the XEV server that could help me do my scavenger hunt? My enchanter really wants that firework thingie, hehehe. I've got three of the easier items to get. Its the higher level stuff I'm having problems with (she's only 25). Especially since I'm still fairly new to the game and don't know where all the zones/drops are. (heck, I'm still having trouble with everyones abbreviations. Did you mean Paludal Caverns or Price Check? lol)

I have done some OOC's in places like POK but haven't gotten a response (Except for one really nice druid who helped me get my first 3 items). I asked nicely and offered a donation too =P

Anyone? Please? =)

Is your characters name Smidgie? What time zone are you in and what time are you on? When asking for help give all the info a good samaritan would need.
You are a bit low in lvl to go to some of the zones. You might get group to help you loot the item when you zone in just /ooc what you are looking for.
Best thing to do is get a partner or group to join you though.
Not sure if i can help you as I might have to join guildraid

The character I want it for is named Tinyia. I'm on central time. I can get on anytime from 1pm-1am, hehe. Can't do it tonight since its hubby's birthday. But any other day is good for me.

It's been hard finding one person help me let alone a group, lol.

Actually, this quest can be done by you and one other high level character. I would love to help you but I am out of town for next 10 days and no EQ for me. :(

You can get 6 or 7 of the 10 items from outdoor zones, iirc. You can get to these mobs fairly easily using PoK port stones and an escort from a high level character. You need someone who can invis and invis against undead. All of these mobs were green to level 65. Some of them required a long waiting period. The rest of the indoor zone, 3 or 4 (can't remember) are fairly low end zone and the mobs can be approached with invis and ivu. You do have to watch the aggro range since you are low level. I suggest you stay invis or ivu the whole time and have your escort kill the way down to the mobs. There are some mobs that has people camping them so you may need to come back to the mobs. Good luck and if it's still going on when I get home and you have not gotten it by then, I will be happy to help you. I think I want to get one for my druid anyways.

A couple of people in my guild are going after some of the critters tonight. The guildleader wants fireworks. :) They're meeting in front of the Kaladim stone at 7 central. Or, knowing the guildleader, shortly thereafter. I'm sure she wouldn't mind you going with her.

Couldnt check the message board for a couple of days so i missed this. Someone said that it ends the 14th or 15th? I've got someone who offered to help me tonight but I'm hoping I wont have to be up too late for it. Practicing my illusion spells while I wait. So if you see a huge rock named Tinyia in pok say hi =D
