ADVENTURER'S STONE, crapFollow

#1 Apr 05 2004 at 3:11 PM Rating: Decent
just wondering about the Adventurer's Stone. i stuck it into a crappy charm and now i'm wondering why i didn't wait to put it in something better once i got it. so my question is if i remove it doesn't it disappear, and if so can i just get another one and re-hail all those NPC's needed to get its power?

You are correct you can remove it with in solvent slot 1 type

To gaing the power of the adventure stone you need to successfully complete 10 advents in any LDON advent. So for every 10 successfull missions your stone increases in power to the main person that basically updates your journal to that camp. the only way to get the benifit of the adventure stone is to augment it to any slot 1 but honestly the stone doesnt start looking good tell you have 500+ missions

You can get a new stone my hailing the guy who gave you it originally. don't need to rehail all the other NPC's

And the stone caps at around 370ish successful wins, so don't worry about the 500+ comment.

Yes, you can get a new stone. Not sure if you'll have to unlock the bonuses again or not, but the wins are still wins so it's not like you lose them and have to start over.

As stated above, each 10 wins unlocks a new bonus, the cap per camp is 50 wins each, so it's not like you can get all your wins in one camp to unlock all the bonuses. That's SOE's way of getting you to use all the camps.

I just capped Miragul's last night. I hail the NPC there in Everfrost and she tells me something to the effect that I know about as much or more about Miragul's as she does LOL. Anyhow, it is capped by 68 wins. And I got an augment improvement somewhere between 60 and 68. Bizzare. I didn't count the exact number of "hails" I did. I assumed it would go on for a while longer. /shrug.

Perhaps other camps have a larger cap? If 68 is the cap, 68*5=340 so it would be 340 missions to finish. If it caps at 65 - which would be a nice round number, then: 65*5=325 wins to completely upgrade the augment.

Also, I think it unlikely but perhaps I am capped for my level? I am only level 62 so maybe I have to be 65 to do more?

I read somewhere the other LDoN camps have more varied NPC's you have to hail. In EF, you hail the Vah Shir in the EF camp up to around 20 wins then go to this guy in the "Rude Individual's" tent directly out from Blackborrow for about 10-20 wins then back to EF - so in total only 2 people. The others seemed to have more people thus perhaps more total improvements? (Probably not - just a thought).
