anyone else having trouble logging in now? can not log in, keep getting the 1001 error and cannot talk to soe because it is sunday.

Same here. Tried repeatedly, and still getting 1001.
Guy's EQ's down again it's not you they have been having issues all day with servers and the login server. They should be back up soon for about 5 mins before they take another 3 hour break *sigh
i went to the eq site and it said the servers are up? oh well will keep on trying, thank you for responding
the regular servers are up it's the login server. The login server is not listed on the sony site.

Innoruuk (for one) is up, has been up all day as I have a trader on. Must just be login server issues again.
I can never understand why they don't:
1) post the status of the login server on their server status site OR
2) actually have code in the login application that clearly tells you if you can or can not login. How useful is it when you get error 1001 (can't connect) and error 1023 (servers congested) interchangably? It makes the entire process needlessly frustrating. DAoC really set the bar for excellence in login ease and EQ needs to play catch-up badly. DAoC would actually tell you right there (before you logged in) if the servers were down for a patch! Imagine that!

This is getting REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, OLD !!!!!! How can anyone do a weekend raid when the servers are constantly down during prime time gaming? To make matters worse SOE is blatently lying on their website and there is no way of getting into Chat or contacting technical support. The DX9 and GoD have been a complete and total disaster.

Agreed! This is truely getting old. And I cannot even log into the EQ website to leave a post there either. /sigh
you should hop on over to the sony eq forum. There's some hardcore EQ bashing goin on right now. Kinda entertaining. It's been like this all day long. My guild has a raid goin on in about 5 minutes looks like it's not going to happen now.

Same problem here, was in a group headed for LDoN Dungeon, crashed to desktop and now can't get back in. Been almost 2 hours.
