I am really enjoying the latest EQ role playing adventures of being able to enact being scenery. It is sort of zen. I AM THE TREE. Scenery doesn't have to do much. Easy job. Just stand there. Watch folk run by. It's a bit boring.

Zoned from BB to GFay and became part of the wall. No amount of jumping, turning would release me. I finally cast levitate and that did the trick, as gate would have hopefully done as well.

I can no longer auto follow anyone, because I seem to cling to every tree and rock along the route. I cannot type as I run along anymore. I used to hit a tree and sort of automatically go around one side, not now.

Didn't SOE claim they fixed this? Is anyone else still having this role playing experience?

Aye, it seems as if they poured glue all over everything. The last patch notes I read stated that they had adjusted collision, which is what makes you stop when you run into a rock, tree, etc.. But I guess it needs some more tuning. I am sure they are working on it.

As for ending up as part of the wall, yikes! I hope you /bug 'd that. I am glad you had the right spells and were able to free yourself. What would you have done if you were a Warrior?

Exactly my thought, if you are not in a group with a caster who can levitate or transport or do something to effect you, what happens? I do not know if camping & re-logging would have worked or not. Otherwise I guess you could wait for a kind caster to come along (at least it is a popular area-not out where
you are alone). All warriors need a travel potion if they can afford it, as part of their emergency supplies.

I send daily /bugs on SO many subjects SOE is sure to be sick of me. I still cannot right click on my chat and other windows on SOME of my characters. Think they were the windows locked when the patch went into effect, but I did not want them locked forever, only against accidental movement.
