I know this should be in tech support.....but....
Does the GOD expansion have dx9 included with it???
If i download GOD, should i be able to play EQ again???
im having problems with some things dx9 related and more people look here than in tech support, and i just want to know this one thing before downloading an expansion that i don't need at the mo".Otherwise i'll take it back to the shop:)

I'm not sure if GoD included DirectX 9 or not (I already had it on my box prior to getting the expansion). However, you can download DirectX 9.0b directly from Microsoft here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=141D5F9E-07C1-462A-BAEF-5EAB5C851CF5&displaylang=en

DX9 is a download from Microsoft. Their website will have the latest version. Even if there is one on the GoD CD it may well be out of date by now.

No need to buy GoD to get DX9.

I would imagine that some magazines would also have DX9 on their cover disk under utilities.

I was given GOD for a freebie. Im lvl 29 ranger wich is why i probly dont need to download it for the game. I think death and corpse run would follow repeatedly....

I think you still need to download the GoD files for leadership interface and abilities. If you start/lead groups frequently, start working on leadership AAs. Leadership AAs are easier to get at lower levels or in LDoN, where kill rates are fast.

when you install god you will be prompted to install DX9 so yeah it comes in the GoD expansion.
