Hey all, just two questions here. Where would a good place for a Lv 53 Necro to Solo, and where could a 50 War 50 Monk and 53 Necro Hunt? Just looking for some ideas or tactics. As always thank you for your help! See you on the other side!

If you're looking for experience, head to PoN or PoD and do some hate kiting(the warrior and monk would make good mana free DoT's here, just make sure they wait to attack till the mob is at 80% or so)
If you're looking for cash try doing either Cobalt Scar or head to The Grey and trigger some traps. The named in that zone drop some decent loot that sells pretty fast in the 2-3K range. Just make sure everyone has an enduring breath item or DMF up in the grey as it's a no-air zone.

I solo-ed in PoN from 51-55. Without a healer the only thing you 3 would be able to do would be for you to agro kite and have the 2 of them plus your pet wacking away at the mob following you. XP goes by really fast there. Just make sure that you don't lose agro and the melees use non-agro causing weps.
I usually fought in the area between the GY and the close waterfall. Btw, the 2 mobs that spawn right at the water fall aren't social, so if you first pull the one on the left, the one on the right will not assist it.

I'm 61 working on 62 and exp seems to be aweful in anywhere but tier 2 zones. I killed trees, raves, etc. until 58 and then gargoyles until 61. Gargoyles now give me 1% about ever 3 or 4 kills not good. So now I'm stuck with PoV golems or PoS frogs until I get to 62 and am able to go into BoT. I'd say you can tank the stuff in PoN if you find someone to slow the mobs for you. Shaman or Ench are always good.

HK nobles and bards are semi-decent experience at that lvl, but not absolutely wonderful. Or you could try the guards in Katta Castellum. You pull to the graveyard there, and there's a few of them to pull so you can pull non-stop. VERY easy place to solo but you get faction hits, so you have to be careful since as the faction drops, the assist radius increases, and before you know it, the assist radius of some of the mobs are within range of other guards. Again, not the most wonderful experience but there's some lame armor drops that could sell for 50pp each in the bazaar probably, the Validus Custodus armors with the str. stats on it.
I agree with Frammelpie, Katta is an excellent zone for a necro. Hunt the guards in the main courtyard. Start with the 2 in front of the tavern, then take the 2 at the foot of the stairs, then take the two in front of the bank. If you pull with splurt, you can get a single guard. By using splurt, your pet should be able to get agro before they even get near you. Pull em, send in your pet, darkness, fear, and dot. Repeat until courtyard is clean. Med up and wait for repop. I went from 55 to 60 there in about 2 weeks. If you 2 or 3 box, let the other toons loot and sit for exp, they can also use the bank, sell the armor drops to vendors in the tavern, and buy food and water.
BW is a good place also. There are alot of undead camping spots. Pull, send in pet, darkness, fear, slow, and dot. They go down pretty quick. The exp is NOT as good as Katta though.
Lastly, the Hole. I love that zone. Plus this dungeon gives a %25 exp bonus. Go invis until you run into the constructs. (Constructs see thru invis) If you do them slowly, you should be able to get the constructs one at a time. You only need to do 3 of them before you get to the city gates. Make sure you LOOK UP. There are gargoyles stationed around the city on top of buildings, but if you look for them, they can easily be avoided. The gargoyles at the gate usually don't attack. Kill the 2 wandering contructs and work your way to the harbor area. The city itself is full of undead. Go slow. Once to the harbor area, in the far corner across from the pier, you can set up your camp and pull. The wandering constructs do not wander to your camping spot so you should be safe. Make sure you darkness any undead since they will run at 20% and the last thing you want are adds. Just start pulling. EXP and loot are terrific. You will probably need to gate out, unless you want to fight your way back out. I usually made 1000p an hour there, with drops, plat, and items.
Descarte Meditations Lvl 65 Arch Lich - Povar

boy its been a while since you 2 were in katta. katta now sucks as you can not fear kite there any longer. the pathing is fubar.
at 53rd to solo, you have only a few choices left. best bet is to get a small group and hit some of the T1 zones.
OOT seafurrys are good xp and loot solo just use your warrior pet and go nuts on them. the xp will start slowing down though at 53rd so its a bit rough for the xp grind.
also on the low side of xp will be Dulak. get to the 3rd or 4th boat and you will be set. careful of the 4th boat as it has MEGA agro range, but the 3rd is near perfect. lady Di is the 3rd boat. xp will dropp off here as well as you are post 50.
Gunthak is not a bad place to hunt. again no fear kitting, but you can pull singles and beat the snot out of them.

as for bringing your friends along, go hit Veksar. with their tanking, and your slows/undead DD/healing you 3 will own the top of the stairs and the xp will fly in along with a fair amount of loot.
if you are ubb3r (mega gear) you could even solo there, but i always had a rough time of solo there if i could not drop agro fast enough or if slow was resisted.

Err, wait a minute, I never said Katta was a GREAT place to solo. In fact, 55-60 in 2 weeks probably couldn't even happen there now if you plan on getting ANY sleep or have to go to work, eat, take a crap, what-have-you.

I don't know where you fear-kite that it's not possible now, but apparently I don't use your same tactic.

I tried hunting the upper level of Katta once (the graveyard and courtyard) but found the pathing was horrific. Last night, just to check things out, I went over to Katta. I hunted at my normal spot, on the wall across from the bank next to the tavern. I didn't have any problems with the pathing at all. The guards walked from the wall to toward the bank like they always did.
55 - 60 in 2 weeks ... was done last summer. No school and I think I played about 12-14 hours a day.

to much hassle.
2 casts of darkness due to extra long run pulling mobs to deep corner.
2 casts of most DoTs also due to not having pet beat on guard during that extra pull time thus no added DPS from your pet. keeping in mind your pet is about 1/2 your total DPS.
yes doable, but not worth the hassle. go someplace were the hassle is not such a pain in the ***** hit gunthak, both better loot and much less hassle with the mobs.
or as i pointed out, best bet is for him to take his melee friends with him and hit veksar. necros rule in that zone.
as for the bank area, they must of changed the pathing again as after the 'fix' the guards ran straight to the stairs thus pulling the guard off the top of the stairs, or the 2 from the stairs or his partner, so last i looked at the bank area it was worthless to try to solo there sub 59.
