Problem with message: Server may have crashedFollow

I have a problem.

Ever since i bought EQ and the game just crashes while mid-play. I frequently get the message:

"Everquest has shutdown"
(causing me to go LD)
"Your server seems to have crashed"

Do i have something turned on that i shouldn't or is there another local server that i choose from. I play on the Server Druzzil Ro, but when my "server" goes down i don't see Druzzil Ro go down. I know i am kind of confusing, but if you can help me i would appreciate it.
