A quick question for anyone who has done this quest. I play an iksar necro and when I go to the first quest guy to talk to in PoK, he doesn't say the text that the guide on allakhazam'a says he will. Do i need to use an illusion to start the quest or can I just go right to the guy and do the turn in without talking to the midget in PoK?

dont need to speak with the fellow in pok library iirc but make sure you got high enough faction in with the gnome in gnome town, otherwise he will not fork over the cloak.

I read an old thread about this on the item look up page... It seems that dorf illusions work and gnome illusions do not work. So, try it with a dorf illusion :p
