Targeting problemFollow

Well, I think I was on the buggiest LDON ever last night. Lots of issues (below) but the most annoying one was that none of us could click-target for most of the adventure - only F8-targeting worked (and believe me in DGuk that makes pulling and CC a lot more tricky). There was never any problem targeting PCs and occassionally I could target MOBs but 90% of the time only F8 would work - anyone else seen this? Any recommendations? Since it happened to everyone in the group and we have quite varied hardware I'm pretty sure its not a hardware/driver-related issue.

Here is a full list of the bugs that hit us:

1) FD was completely ignored consistently for both MNK amd NEC - they had to simply stop getting into situations where they might need it so I took over pulling as a ranger)

2) Inability (by anyone in the group) to target MOBs by clicking on them (ouch!)

3) On two occassions it got into a state like we were in a different universe to the MOBs - they were unaffected by spells and we could not shoot them - they simply did not aggro - was like we were not casting/shooting. Evacing to entrance reset this.

4) LOTs of LDs for several of us several times

5) [actually before we began the adventure] The monk got stuck on a cactus in FPW and could not move. Camping out did not help. Druid went and ported him after which he still could ot move, but camping out at this point did work.

I've had some of the same problems. But don't have any solutions to offer. I seem to get stuck, if only momentarily, on everything I walk too close too. Its as if they've covered every thing in Norrath with Velcro.

I got stuck on the corner of an archway in an LDON while pulling. Dieing appeared to have solved that problem. :-(

The inability to click-to-target has made pacifying and pulling an even bigger adventure than usual.

Yep targetting issues here too, one thing I did notice is that if I adjust clip plane, sometimes (only sometimes tho) it temporarily fixes it. (Only in open areas, places with lots of trees still are tough).

Mobs around the world are getting stuck in walls, much like the players are. I would venture to guess that something isn't *jiving* properly between mob/npc/pc "boxes" (how big they are, where they fit, etc) and the world geometry. We had a few mobs in ToV last night get stuck in walls, but were able to pull them out through backing off and letting them warp. (Stuck in the walls caused LoS issues with spells, as well as not allowing melee dmg, luckily the mob also couldn't hit us with melee or aoes)

Taunt is also affected. Noticed this on my warrior over the past few days. Many (at least 75%) of the time I hit taunt to pull the mob off of someone else (and it does not give a fail message) the mob doesn't turn and continues beating on the other person.

Getting stuck/bouncing off of objects is starting to get annoying too.

I'm a war and enc, so I don't know much about FD, but I'm sure there have been issues there too.

I'm sure SoE has had a few reports of this, but we all should be /bug'ing and /feedback'ing them to ensure they see how large the effect is.

The worst I heard was mobs "inside" walls summoning players in and slaying them at leisure, since no one else in group could attack through the walls.

Everything is a mess, except the armor looks really cool.

Well, we have a 50/50 chance that all will be made right tonight.

Then again....

The problem is that there are two distictly different problems.

Some people are having dx9 compatability problems (and I think that the low end of what had been said would work will not. My GeForce2 with 64 Mb memeory will barely handle it, someone with less will be in big trouble I think).

There is also some bum coding in the colision engine, that's a problem no matter how good your graphics capability is.
