Agreed, but I am also broke all the time from buying spells lol

I have had one bad experience in LDoN with KL running off with loot as well as they looted some aug's....everyone was quite annoyed. But live and learn :)

Guild Tags have lot to do with who is asked to be ML on established servers, if you know the guild has a good rep then you tend to trust them.

I have been stiffed twice by ML'ers and both are on my /friends list so that i know where they are if they are on i i will cheak to see if they are in a group if called to that zone, if they are i tell the group leader what they did and politely turn down the group.

I think the problem would be solved if autosplit was always on but you had the choise not to receive coins, that would then make it your choise from the beginning and you wouldn't have to keep telling people to turn it off.

That is correct. For Example, lets assume there is a full group of 6 members and that you loot a mob. You have autosplit on. The mob's corpse has 13 platinum, 13 gold, 13 silver, and 13 copper on it. The autosplit will deliver 2 platinum, 2 gold, 2 silver, 2 copper to each member, assuming they are in the same zone, including to you and you will keep the remaining 1 of each coin since those could not be split equally. Now, assuming something of this nature on each kill, by the time the group ends, the looter may well end up with 30-40 more plat than any other member of the group. In any event, the looter will always benefit from having autosplit on. That is why in LDoN, most people want it off, such that the split is calculated only on the final total, and the loss to the other group members is minimal. Then again, one runs the risk of getting nothing if the ML disappears with the loot.
