Crashing while zoning?Follow
Anyone having a problem with crashing while sometimes zoning other than me? I'm assuming its either NVIDIA's new drivers or this new engine. This is a recent problem for me. I NEVER CRASH!
I had this same problem with the last major patch. Everytime I would zone it would freeze and crash (wierd thing was it only did it to one of my characters). SoE techs said they could do nothing to help me of course even tho it was their patch that did it. I ended up having to delete my character's ini file and that fixed it for me. Give that a shot
started to happen when I wasstill travelling via ship during january this year. Crashed every time I tried to enter either Erudin or BB
mmm hmmmm, I crashed yesterday while zoning.
If you continue to crash while zoning, go into your EQ folder and find the ini file for the character that is crashing and delete it. When you relog into EQ it will rebuild that character file. This helped me and several friends who have had this same problem on the Lanys T'vyl server
