Well, since people were slackers and didn't post a weekend update, lets have a midweek update just for the heck of it!

I worked mostly on the fireworks shooty stick quest this weekend, ended up with a Naggy stick. Spent most of the rest of the day killing fabled fippy for all the newbies and giving out fireworks shows.

Finished sleaving my new enermax power supply. Now it looks spiffy and aerodynamic. Just waiting on a few more parts, including the new case, and I'll be all set to install the sucker.

Other than that, ahven't done too much of interest. Had a headache last night. that was annoying. Anyoen else do anythign fun?

In game we progressed a bit further through the Ikkinz raids and Summoner ring. Have a line on getting my rogue flagged for Time at last - all she needs is FR and it's been Euro guilds killing him, but I think I can get her in on Thursday if the planets align just right.

A fourth guild entered into Time last week (theoretically at least, I think about half of them are fully flagged), which brought on discussions about the rotation - they only raid on certain nights during the week and wanted to keep their same schedule, which wouldn't work for anyone else. We'll see how that goes. They're pretty nice people overall, and I think they'll come to see reason. We may not be doing Time much longer anyway, hence the urgency to get my rogue flagged for all that nice rot loot. :p

In RL news I'm trying to shepherd a major release out the door (nearly there, omg), hand hold some important clients who have just upgraded from a four-year-old version of our software to the current shipping system... and I had to fire someone last week, NOT fun.

Well, yesterday I decided I was going to go have a nice relaxing exp session inside the entrance of splitpaw, so I began the run and about 15 minutes later I stepped inside to see, D'OH! 15 others there, and about 5 of them camping the doorway. I'm used to there being at MOST, zero other other people in there at one time... anniversary schmaniversary. So I ran back to NK and saw a hill giant, Ah HA! I'll solo that gu...

A hill giant has hit you for 78 points
A hill giant has hit you for 78 points
You try to slash a hill giant but MISS!
A hill giant has hit you for 78 points

Mulamen says out of character: GIANT TO SK!

So after rekindling my pride, I head over to Eastern Karana for a little session with the crag spiders, so I'm peacfully hacking away at one when lo and behold...

A hill giant has hit you for 92 points
A hill giant has hit you for 80 points
You try to slash a hill giant but MISS!
A hill giant has hit you for 78 points

Mulamen says out of character: GIANT TO NK!

So, I brush the dirt off my shoulder, pop my collar and head back yo the crags.

Two blurs go across the screen and I turn to see two level 65's haulin A$$ to the zone. Now what would they be running from in this zo... YAH!
Turns out I just happened to wander into the path of these guys dragging the fabled proon back to a group of more upper level people. So me in all my "encumberedness" took off yet again for the zone and stepped back to watch the festivites.
Wow, what bad luck I'm having today
I thought let's just get a few more silks and be done with this mess.

Now I thought to "oons" were the only named giants in NK, so was I surprised when I saw...
Tarbul Earthstrider hits you for 95 points
Tarbul Earthstrider hits you for 80 points

Mulamen says out of character: Would you guys like Tarbul as well?

So I haul yet another giant to the bridge, go to the top of a hill and camp.
That's enough giants for me.

got bored of playing my pally so I logged on my 28 druid for a bit. Now, I haven't played my druid in a year or two. When I did, I was poor as heck, so I did 27-28 on hill giants in RM. I was still logged there. What the heck, I'll pull a HG! unbelievably rathe is empty! Be careful where you run, you now run slower going up a hill...

Well, I will post my weekend update from last weekend as well as the mid-week.

Had a great weekend. Went to wurm caves to help a friend get her Celestial Healing spell. We killed so many wurms. A bunch of high level guildies joined us and we had a great time...makes me happy I am in such a good guild (Norrathian Collective on E-Marr server). Was a fun time for all. By the end, my friend had been invited into the guild and she finally, and I say finally after hours and hours go ther spell! YAY!

Then I went with my son and we fought ice gianta at the GD fort until I gained 45 (I am a cleric)...so now I can be KEI equiped! DOUBLE YAY!

All in all was a great weekend.

So, Monday night my son and I decided to go to some of the old world dungeons we are too big for and just check things out. Before all of this fabled stuff, I know that Najena, Unrest, Runny and Befallen were virtually ignored and empty except for questers. Not true anymore. We expected to get into Najena and be alone and kill mobs and get some cool drops before we set our sites on the higher level zones...but alas...everything was camped.

Last night a friend...65 cleric...asked my son and I and a friend of ours to go to kael with him...so he got a druid friend and we ported to Wakening Lands. Now...I would have thought that our 65th lvl friend would have known that there is a big dragon that sits and waits for idiots like us to port in so he can eat us. But this slipped his mind. No sooner had I popped than I was being hit with a DOT and a DD...huge. Took my little priest butt aboout a minute to die. Didn't even see what was hitting me...just said Wuoshi casts...etc. So we all died...and then had to figure out a way back in. Fortunately our there was a guild that decided to take our plight as a challenge and they put together a couple of groups and went in and kept the big guy busy while we got our bods.

well played Jarkeld for a bit *cough Ding 60 *cough, and then in a ft of madness started a beastlord and have been playing him since.

On a side note... 2 stacks of bone chips, 40 cb belts and 12 cb pads are enough to get a kitty Bst from lvl 2->9.
