THIS IS NOT A FLAME!
I am very curious to know how you have got to 35 with out saving up any plat?
Maybe you spent it all in the bazaar or something, or maybe your play style is giving you some unnecessary headaches.
Please post how you got to 35, we may be able to make a suggestion or two.
I have two characters that I do not 2 box (as a rule), one is a cleric the other a druid, the cleric has a couple of thousand PP from LDoN's, the druid does the family's dirty work, collecting pelts, silks, meat etc and so does a fair amount of soloing, she has several thousand plat, mostly from killing stuff that comes her way while doing the farming. eg Hunting griffons in Jagged Pines will usually net a Griffon Eye or two and Griffon Fang Earring. Passing through the Karana's always means killing any bandits that are nearby, netting various bits of bronze (couple of PP or so) and bandit sashes (trade in for more bronze), she stores these until its worth a trip to Qeynos to cash them in. Same thing with greater lightstones, if a wisp wanders by it gets the treatment, save them up and hand in a back pack full at the gypsy camp (9pp per shot).
We need both mammoth meat and frost crystals just now, so she is hunting mammoths, heh, as things always go in Norrath, she is getting nothing but tusks (also 9pp per shot), can't get meat to drop for love nor money. Oh, the irony, I once spent weeks trying to hunt mammoth tusks and got backpacks full of meat
Anyway, the point being that there is no need to waste hours in the bazaar trying to be a merchant, you can gather up a lot of PP in no time by hunting the right stuff and selling it to NPC merchants for instant cash.
