What am I doing wrong, or is this a bug??Follow

In LDONS when I pull this happens sooooo often and it is getting me real steamed.. ( level 57 pally btw)

I see a room with 2+ mobs.. I think I pacify all but 1 of them.. I use CEASE spell to the pull the one left, but seems I missed one and 2 come.. As I am usally the MT as well.. I know all will key on me.. and the Enchanter will mezz the other.. Sooooooo I pull back and drag the mob I stunned back to the party along with the add.. Then when I hit the attack key.. My targetting changes.. AUTOMATICALLY to the other mob.. This has caused a few deaths..

Last week after we had won a LDON and were trying to kill a named.. I had pacfied all except the name and his pet.. pulled them back into a room with a barrel ( that we knew to leave alone) and when I hit the attack button.. I targeted the barrell?!?! We all got very drunk and all died but the cleric who gated..


Am I doing something wrong? or is this a bug..

Ya know.. that might be it.. I came to EQ from Asherons call.. in AC I used the ~ key as my attack key.. In AC the attack key just attacks whatever I am targeting.. My friend who helped my set up EQ made it so I could use the ~ key to attack just like in AC, but I do not know WHAT key he re-mapped. I had better ask him..
