Leadership xp is a way for you to have benefits for your group - its a lot like alternate advancement.

For example - if you earn 4 leadership points (I think its the cost) you can get a regen +1 to your group, meaning everyone will regain an extra tick of health every tick. Which may not seem like much, but when you figure its a free ability - no mana cost - it makes it seem more worthwhile.

If you have leadership xp on, 20% of the exp you get goes twards it. You have to be the leader to get it. I have also herd you need at least 3 people in the group. If you have already gotten some abilities, they will only work if you are the leader.

To see the leadership window, hit L. From here, you can toggle the xp on/off, spend points, ect (somewhat similar to the aa window).

For the most part, they are automatic. Some do require you to have something targeted.

i have been getting leadership xp with my paladin and like one of the previos posters said i am pretty sure you have to have 3in your group since the few times i have grouped with just one other person i have not gotten it

also i think but am not sure that i read somewhere that for you to get leader xp the mob has to give regular xp to everyone in the group so if you have someone who is a few levels higher and the mob is blue to you but green to him(or her) you dont get leader xp but like i said i am not sure of that

Just wondering, I'm and Enchanter and I feel the abilities would be especially good for me to have. I'm very close to my first point of leadership exp and was putting it towards the Mark NPC ability. What I'm wondering is....

Do you HAVE to be the leader to mark NPCs or once you have the ability, you can do it without being the leader?

once again i am not sure but i think that you have to be the leader to mark npc

saying that i am alos pretty sure there is another leader ability that allows you to designate someone else to be able to mark the npc

To see how much leadership experience you have, just type "L". Whenever you're group leader, you can earn leadership experience. You have the option of turning leadership experience on or off.

Leadership experience draws from your regular and AA experience.

As a chanter who also thought the mark NPC ability is a godsend, heres a few pointers.

You have to be the group leader to use the ability, but if you also get the 'delegate main assist' ability, you can allow for the tank to do the marking instead. Also if you point out you have the ability, people will frequently allow you to be group leader if you just ask, most people dont really care.

And finally, tho I am not certain, I believe people that do not have GoD dont see your new indicator, so sometimes you will still get group members that dont see your targetting and wake up the wrong mob, but its a definately improvement.

I'm doing LS points with my HE Cleric. He's on his way to his 6th point at the moment.

You need a minimum of 3 people in the group to get LS points.
Press "L" on the keyboard to bring up the LS screen.
You need to own the GoD exp to get LS exp and points.
You have to be the group's leader, to use any abilities you have.

The first ability my Cleric got was Delegate Main Assist, which assigns a person as the Main Assist and shows the whole group, what the MA has targetted, at all times. No more excuses for the rest of the group attacking the wrong Mob. Also finding that DMAssist makes life for the Enc so much easier.

One thing I have noticed. I can only delagte MA on player/characters who also own the GoD expansion. I've /bugged repoerted this.

Still disiding what to get as my second ability.

i cant decide whether to do it, i got half an LSpoint from 2 adventures so theyre not exactly hard to get, but 20% of my XP is a lot to sacrifice, i already have 1/2 a point an dit seems a shame to not do anything with it after i used up 20% of 2 adventures to get it, i dont group much, what should i do?
