A little tech help here pleaseFollow

I am having some graphic glitches in the game. It looks like large triangles flashing all over, especially around buildings. EQ was working fine a few hours ago. When I logged in this time It downloaded a small file, I didn't pay attention to the name of it.

Dxdiag and windows device manager both say my system is fine. No other programs seem to be affected. Edit: quake3 and wolfenstein are affected so it probably isn't EQ related.

I tried zoning ingame several times and the problem persisted through all zones.

I tried rebooting and then changing graphic settings in game without any change to the glitches.

I deleted the all the global .txc files and repatched but I haven't tried any other .txc files since the problem isn't isolated in any certain zone.

Any ideas of what it could be and/or how to fix it?
