Hop across to Butcherblock and hunt the goblins along the shore near the docks. They will drop a Hunting Bow for you. Better than the merchant ones and way cheaper, you need to begin Fletching as a trade skill to make your self cheap arrows for ammo though.

To directly answer your question, there's a merchant at Inn3 in Eastern Commons (I believe it's Inn3, anyway.. northwestern most inn) who sells bows, arrows and fletching supplies. However, as Iluien stated, buying bows and arrows is horribly expensive and gets you subpar stuff. Even just for pulling you'd be better off learning the art of fletching well enough to make your own basic arrows and even a basic hickory bow.

Pally's don't usually use bows and arrows to pull though, they have good spell options.

correct, I mostly pull with one of the stun spells (e.g. cease, desist).

nevertheless, maxxing your archery skills is not a bad thing. :-)

EDIT: either get up your fletching skills as described above or buy one, but bazaar is the better place to buy a bow. you need to have the Luclin expansion though to go to the Bazaar. if you don't have it, ask some player nicely (who does have Luclin) if he could buy one for you in Bazaar.

The unmarked building next to the general supplies merchant in NFP has bows and arrows for sale. Easy enough to locate, use the FIND button and follow the trail. (Or if your computer wont show that trail, come directly out of the bank and it's the 3rd building on your left)

Have your arrows in a quiver because it speeds up the fire rate.(Fleeting Quiver is fastest.) Also haste items/spells/songs have no affect on ranged items reuse.

And while picking out your bow, bear in mind the longer delay bows generally do more damage but you wont be able to hit the mob with your melee weapons until the bow recycle time is complete.

kladair, item haste, song/spell haste do affect ranged attack speed/reuse. If it doesn't, archers would never ask for haste.

Thanks! Good info and especially about the expense.

Yes thanks, I know about Pals and spells. I happen, for some reason, always pick Pal in an RPG. In a terrible rut.

But it may come in handy in pulling and also if in a group and can hit maybe a tough one way a little from a distance before he hits the group.

Paladin spells are good, but I could still see the value in pulling in wide open places like DL/OT/DSP with a bow. If for no other reason than you have further range and save a little mana. I wouldn't invest much in it, but getting some decent range arrows and a decent bow can't hurt.
