I was getting ready to do my Ghoulbane quest soon, and was wondering if anyone had heard/seen anything about the Fabled Ghoulbane being questable. I HIGHLY doubt it, but I figured it'd be worth asking since I have zero chance of acquiring it in LGuk in the next few weeks.

I am curious about that too!

Would make sense that it would be questable, and fun too.

BTW, I think Ghoulbane drops off of a Live Froggie in Upper Guk.

I don't know about the quest part but I know the ghoulbane is the rare drop of the Shin Lord (sp?) in Upper guk

I doubt that you will find a quested fabled version of the sword as non of the mobs that drop the components are "named".
If there is a fabled ghoulbane it would most likely drop off a "fabled shin lord" in guk. Probably need a group of post 56 level char to take him down if hes anything like the fabled mobs elsewhere.

Duo'd Fabled with 59 Pally / 57 necro prolly could have solo'd if you have virtue and killed all healers near the room.

All three times he popped <no normal Shin Lord pops in 5 hours> he dropped both fabled and normal ghoulbane.
