Im new to this game and i wanted to know if there is a free trial so i can get the sway of the game. if there is or isnt please tell me.
Yes, there is a free trial.
IF
you buy the Ruins of Kunark expansion.
other than that there are no free trials unless SOE decides to throw one free week in to try and get old players back into the game .. which usually only happens once every year if your lucky, other than the expansion and random things no there is no free trial

Actually I'd read the box. When you buy the game, normally the first 30 days are included with the box price but you WILL have to give billing information when you create your account so they can bill you later. You can cancel your account the DAY you begin playing and you'll have access to play until the first 30 days ends and not worry about being billed again. If at that time you decide you want to continue, just edit your billing and renew your subscription at the pricing plan that you think you'd like. The longer you pay for the more of a discount you will get.
I wouldn't call it a free trial because the price of the first month is included in the box if you are opening a new account with fresh CD keys(as opposed to buying someone else's existing account). But, you don't buy the game and then ALSO have to pay for the first month on top of the original purchase price.

I wouldn't call it a free trial because the price of the first month is included in the box if you are opening a new account with fresh CD keys(as opposed to buying someone else's existing account). But, you don't buy the game and then ALSO have to pay for the first month on top of the original purchase price.

allthough i did not give specifics .. maybe i should have =/ but yes the ruins of kunark expansion give you a free month of everquest as i partially mentioned, that and the random free weeks or so givin by sony is the ONLY free trials,but seeing you have to pay for ruins of kunark it technically isnt a free trial =P think of it as 10$ for the game and 10$ for the 30days =P
