I've heard it takes a Fabled ring drop, which makes sense. Can anyone confirm which AC's said Fabled ring can be found on?

South Ro only or OOT as well? Anyone? Bueller?

its the ancient ring, not fabled, but yes OOT and Sro both drop the ring.

to be blunt it is not worth the headache for either camp.

Sro you will get KSed by all the passing, and even worse now with LDoN, higher level players who are to damn greedy and want the MQ on the ring to solo it when you are in your 30s.

the OOT camp is perma camped and he spawns so rarly that after multiple 14hr+ camps he never spawned for me.

i gave up on him and just focused on getting RS3. its better in the long run anyways.

From what I've heard on eqnecro, Fabled JBoots are dropping in Naj. Fabled AC is droping Fabled ring and Ancient Ring. I have heard, however, that Hasten isn't accepting the Fabled Ring. Haven't tried it, so can't be sure.

The fabeled Jboots are drop only, not quested. They are dropping in Najena (where they used to drop sooo long ago). Off of what, not sure, would be whatever used to drop them.

The Jboots quest (for normal ones) will not accept the fabeled ring.

All of these Fabeled items are simply upgraded drops off of upgraded versions of the mobs that drop/used to drop them. (So Fabeled Frenzied Ghoul in lower guk drops Fabeled FBSS, etc).

I played this game when they droped in Najena off Najena of course who is in a locked room. To get the keys you have to kill a bunch of differnt named mobs in the zone. Being that it's fabled I'd say soloing her would be a tuff task though if you ware 65 maybe possible. When I went there everyone was trying to get the keys to be able to get a shot at the fabled jboots which cast sow instead of journeyman boots. Would love to have them, but unless you are in an uber guild I don't see how you will get these before the week is up and there are no more fabled monsters again.

All fabled items are dropped off the beefed up names that hit for 1220+ dmg and have beefed up hp the only thing that they didnt beef up was the mobs lvl. I beleive Najena is lvl 24 and fights like a lvl 24 but hits like a Bot mob and has the hp of one all fabled names summons immune to root and snare ( so to answer soloability is out of the question)

Some Fabled mobs are soloable. My friend 65 enchanter Mymets on the E'ci server killed the Ishva Maul to get his Fabled robe. He died the first time, but killed him the second time. It really depends on what level the mob is. The lower level mobs can be killed solo by high level people.

Ok.... So the more important question is: Does anyone have a link to the stats for the various fabled items? It would be nice to know if it's actually worth bothering to get these items. Would suck to deal with lines of folks only to get a drop that is no-drop and not an upgrade...

Specifically. What's the point of the fabled Jboots? Folks only use the normal ones for the run speed, right? Does this allow you to cast it indoors? Is the resulting run speed increase greater then a normal pair? Is that significant enough to warrent getting them?

Same with other items. Ok. The Fabled FBSS has a 36% haste. That's nice, but is a hast downgrade for a lot of people (and a side grade for many more). If it doesn't have fantastic stats on it as well, there isn't a whole lot of point.

Like I said they cast spirit of the wolf. That is faster then the normal journeyman boots. I believe the original is around 20% speed increase while spirit of the wolf is a a 30 to 50% increase? It also has some stats 3wis 3 int 30hp 30mana something like that. All fabled items are much improved over the original versions and are no drop, but will take a very uber high level character to get or a high level group.

Thanks for the feedback everyone (an entire thread with no flames or trolls! *clap clap cheer*). I've decided to take an above posters advice and abandon all hope of these boots and grind my next level to 55 then switch over to AA's for a bit (Come on Spell Crit!!!).

Again, thanks.
