25 Necro Hunting GroundsFollow

Can anyone suggest a good place to solo at 25? Also, are the forums here searchable? I can't seem to find a way to search them.

Thanks,
John

Unrest....prolly some of the best xp in the game for lvls 25-30. Good alternative to High Hold Keep (yuck). Would recommend doing the second floor til ya get used to the place. Then head to basement.

sisters in OOT at sister island. there is a hunt that you can split and keep the xp rolling in rather fast.

Not sure how camped they are anymore, but if you can get a group at the treants in South Karana it will be great xp and cash. Also, when the xp dries out there, you can move on to the druids in north or east karana for about the same amount of xp/cash. Great spots, but not solo-able at your level.

I spent most of my 20s as a necro in Lake of Ill Omen. There's a ruins near the Windmill guarded by skeletons which is a great place to start using undead charm/lull/slow/etc. That area also gets a lot of other skellys and live mobs wandering through for excitement and change of pace. Having a neutral merchant in the windmill makes loot manageable.

You could try the lizards in the Feerrott. After you zone in from the book just head south. There is a bridge that crosses the water to a few temples surrounded by lizards. This was pretty fun and may do you a level or two. There is a wandering Ogre guard but you probably wont be KOS, and there is a Red con lizard next to the bridge but he will not agro you. It is fun and a change of pace.

For additional information head over to http://necro.eqclasses.com. Lots of good information, forums are searchable and most everybody is willing to help (provided you post in the appropriate forum. :-))

Warslik's Woods? I think there are some good camps in the caves there. Under-used zone too. Netherbian Lair if you want that "unfair exp" ;)

Dawnshroud Peaks. Fear kiting is your friend!!! That's how my ranger went from lvl 32 to lvl 37.

Start with the small zelniaks and work your way up, great exp but no loot to be told. If you're bored, kill some shrooms and some lightcrawlers. You can never kill enough of those bastages -=)

Depending on how twinked you are, you could probably handle the druids/rangers in west commons at the druid rings. There's 3 druids there, one a high level NON-KOS merchant, and two that you'll be KOS to. The merchant will NOT, I say again, will not assist the other two... this is how I did it. Stand a little se of them, on the hill. Fear the western most one and sick pet on eastern, darkness, fear, dot, sit. It may take 2 fears, depends on how well it sticks. When it's dead, bring pet and sit it b/w you and the other one that's feared and med. When you see the message that fear has worn off, get ready. As soon as you can see him, sic the pet, darkness, fear, dot. Piece of cake, GREAT experience, hardly any competion for the camp (necros are pretty much the only ones that'll do it) and good loot for the level. They regularly drop low level gems, 2-5pp, words, bows, arrows, chain armor, and FS weapons. They sometimes even drop multiple FS weapons. Believe it or not, I had a druid drop 3 weapons once! And I had been camping it for a while, so nobody walked up and gave it to her... anyway. The best part is when you get loaded up on loot, walk over to the 3rd druid and sell to her. Once they start to get too easy, if you don't care about freeport faction, you can do them, then run over and do the toll booth guards, run back and druids should be back up. You'll eventually go OoM doing that, but you have your lich line! Sit with lich (or allure I think at that level) and lifetap dot (more mana efficient) a willowwisp or orc when you get low on HP. It's just too easy.
