Stacking Proc'sFollow

#1 Mar 15 2004 at 5:34 PM Rating: Decent
Haven't had time to log my chat window and check this for certain, but do weapon procs and spell procs not stack? My SK has finally picked up a weapon with a proc on it. I usually like to run with Mental Corruption on to keep my mana up. Seems my sword will not proc if I have Mental Corruption going.

Anyone familiar with this?

Thanks,

Azkurat

Nothing that I know of can stop a weapon from proc'ing except for you being to low to use the proc.

Even if the proc wouldn't have stuck it still occurs and you are notified that "Your spell did not take hold".

A different question for the same subject. Lets say I have a Black Acrylia Long Sword that has Lifedraw effect, I augment it with a Warm Emerald Shard, which has the Heated Blade effect. Will they both still proc?

Thanks

All procs SHOULD work, even if it's a spell proc like a Ranger's, the weapons regular proc AND any procs added by augmentations. As state above, the only time a proc shouldn't fire is when you're too low of a level.

I'd personally submit a bug report on it, chances are the one isn't supposed to block the other.

Yes they do

A friend of mine augmented his ghoulbane with a lifetap proc gem of some sorts and then casts his proc of nife.

Wearing a full set of Deep-cavern platemail and throwing on a +40 dex buff from my shaman usually gives him 200 minimum in dex.

Lots of fun when in MM ldons - couple of times he's darn near killed mobs the first hit.

Indeed procs do stack. I put a lifetap proc into my RKS and it goes off constantly at 255 dex.

Of note, procs on pets stack just as well. I find that a GREAT combo against summoned mobs with my beastlord is spirit of snow, fist of ixiblat, and sword of walnan. Three procs coming off a buffed warder are fun to watch. Can always go with 2 fists of ixiblat though if you aren't fighting summoned mobs.

Don't forget to add in the Dex ratio as well. The better your Dex, the higher % it'll proc.
