last night i was wandering around about to log cause i couldnt find a group when i get a tell asking if i wanted to join a guy 2 boxing with his druid 34 and warrior ( ithink 28) i was also a druid 34

well i was a little concerned seemed kinda scart but i figured what the heck at worst ill just sit there and forage gargouyle granite if we cant handle it

so we get adventure and head to lfay well we go in and its just me and his warrior

he sends me tell saying he has a new laptop and forgot to patch in ldon so he is stuck outside with his druid

well we decide that we are gonna go for it and if i run low on mana hes just gonna zone out to his druid for heals

to make a long story short we finished and got a win with like 10 minutes left and about 55 pp apiece

then we decided what the heck might as well and stay for xp so we do and we are still killing em when we have a bad pull and get 5 or 6 at once well i am trying to get succor off while both of are hitpoints are going down when bam dungeon closes and kicks us out

all in all a rather unique experience for me lol

I've been doing 2-3 man LDon with my 2-3 box since lvl 20, and now I'm lvl 51 with all three chars.. it's not that hard, but it gets harder as you progress.. (and it gets bumpy right after 2/3 of your chars get a lvl that gives new spells)

I've done LDoNs with my necro solo, duo and with 2-boxers before, though in the 30s when the dungeons are easy - even on Difficult. I've never completed an adventure solo, but the 2-3 man groups work. The 2-boxer was a BST with or without a rogue.

I thought you had to have at least 3 people in a group to do an LDoN adventure? How do you complete an adventure solo?

I used to play with a friend who dual-boxed a ranger and druid around lvl 62. I (bard) pulled and did haste, slows, CC, mana, etc and the ranger tanked while the druid healed. We probably had about a 90% success rate over 20 or so in EC which was the only one we ever really did since the pulls are so easy and there's few casters.

Once my lvl 25ish (at the time) mage was in a Mistmoore LDoN when the group wiped. Nearly. I was mezzed so the mobs flowed past me and, after mez broke, I valiantly hid in a corner as they all returned from slaughtering my party. Having only a few minutes left on the clock, I summoned a new pet, picked a different passage and soloed three mobs to get the last couple collects we needed while the rest of the party was running through LFay and saying maybe we could get half credit. Yay me!
