I have a beastlord and am trying to do the part of the beginning claws quest. I need the Forged Fastener, from Kagazz. He gave me a box to combine four scoprion legs in, and I have a set of no drop ones and regular ones that I got from the scopion pit. I cannot get them to combine. I cannot give them to him. It says nothing at all when I try to combine them. I am wondering if I have a bug or if I need a different kind of legs or something.
Please help.

This has been an ongoing problem since the end of Feb. What I was told is that you need 4 nodrop scorpion legs, and that at this current time there is a bug with containers and non-tradeskill quests. So unfortunately until the patch (which is to be said to be coming about on March 10th from Eqlive) there isn't much to be done.

There are two types of scorpion legs that drop off scorpions in Shar Vahl. There are "scorpion legs" which are stackable, and there are "scorpion leg" which are not stackable. The claw quest requires 4 of the "scorpion leg" which do not stack.

I am on the Mac server and I still have this problem.... He takes the spider legs and gives me back the box... does anyone know if the bug with containers has been resolved sucessfully?
It is working fine on normal servers.
You have to combine 4 Scorpion legs (not Spider) in the box. I've done it a couple of times in the last few weeks.
I've not seen any stackable scorpion legs but the ones that work in the combine are indeed not stackable. They drop from "a scorpion". I leave the whiptail scorpions alone.

I have also done this quest with my beastlord, and i had the same problem, i found out you have to kill the "a scorpion" (big black ones) in the pit and get the NO DROP leg then combine (this is the part i forgot, i forgot to hit combine, cause if you dont kazz will take the legs and give you the box back) 4 of these in the box given. It then creates one item (no loger can you open the box)give this (one)item to kazz and he'll give you the fasteners. hope this helps!

there is onme called spiderling leg, (no drop and doesnt have "s") thats the one you use. it drops of of "a scrorpion"s the "a whiptail scorpion"s drop that stackable, "scropion leg>s<) it has an "s". that is the one that you "DO NOT" use! im not so sure abnout this bug. i think people are just stupid.

Where are the scorpions at?
The scorpions are found in the pit surrounding the city. To get down into the pit go to the end of the bridge farthest from the city and climb carefully down the wall.
Once in the pit go to the west side for the best hunting grounds.
