Found out that there is a Gnome in S Ro camp that you turn the Unused Aug in to to regain the points used for it. Still Searching Myself through the 60+ Pages on how to remove an Aug from an Item without destroying it... Remember something about it awhile ago Might have been a patch message, but since then had to re-format drives and re-load everything.

Once an augment has been augmented into an item, the only way to remove it is to purchase the solvent correct for whichever slot the augment is in (the solvents can be purchased from the Magus at any adventure camp) and placing the item and solvent into the birdbath in the same fashion as when you installed the augment. This time when you click combine, the augment will be dissolved from the item by the solvent. This will leave you with only your original item. The augment will be destroyed. There is no way to remove an augment without destroying the augment.
