I have a couple of questions....

Well, I would like to talk to my buddies as well as play EQ over the internet. Can you give me an example of a good voice program that does not use alot of band width?
I would like to talk instead of typing in my verbal abuse to the other people in my party.

Also, can you somehow switch back to Windows while still playing EQ? I would like to get into a web site to check a maps, etc while I am still logged in to EQ.

One last thing.. how do you get the description and stats of an object in EQ. I am a bit new..and not sure how to do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Ventrilo. Not sure about the bandwidth usage but it's a nice easy interface. Feels like cheating to be able to talk to the cleric in real time ("FILL HEAL" "On it~").

EQWindows (www.eqw.com). Used to be illegal, but now that EQ lets you tab out it's okay. Much better for memory usage and switching out than playing in windowed mode.

Right click on the object, hold your mouse button down for a sec and the description will come up. To make it stay around move your cursor over the description window.
