Video Issues with latest patchFollow

Was wondering if others are having similiar problems?

I am seeing echoes of things, like the PCs Name and guild tag and for that matter of PCs. I am primarily seeing this on PCs that are on mounts or have some sort of Levitate on them, like SoE or DMF.

I have the latest video driver and have directX 0.0b installed.

The doppelgangers on horses is widespread.

I have been getting striated backgrounds where they should be plain in things like inventory window or bags.

you are not alone. its all over SoE tech forum.

its not related to any specific OS, DX vs, vid card manufacuter, CPU brand, etc.

its just a bit of bad code from SoE dev. team and nothing more.

who knows when it will be delt with. id rather SoE fix the mob warping first.

I've noticed allot more video lag, and a blue jaggy line that pops up now and then

Thanks, at least I am not the only one. I rarely check the SoE forums. I prefer here for my info.

Yesterday while in PoValor there were 2 Tweelis' when I was sitting on my mount. Just for sh*** and giggles I used my host of the elements on a trash mob just to see if I would get 18 babies but only got the standard 9.

Still seeing double mounts and problems you described...
Also something very annoying, all particle effects/particle emitter effects have seemed to disappear with no way to bring them back. (Epic effects, I have an Architect's Scepter on my BST currently which has a flame-like effect which is gone since last patch, PoJ falling blue effect, etc. all gone)

Frustrating for my baby, which can run damn near anything on the market currently at at least 1024x768 at full graphical detail w/o so much as a hiccup to see things like this in a game that runs on something along the lines of an outdated Unreal engine

Almost annoying as the lag that I never see in other games under same (in most cases, more) graphical and latency strain, but thats another story ;)

I like to think we have a better overall success rate than sony. But that could just be due to the smaller sample.
