I said I wasn't gonna do it. I told myself I would refrain because it seems a very low featured expansion. And at lunch I ran right out to my local gamestop and bought Gates of Discord.

I'm a bad druid... Smiley: frown

I didnt cave in i had it preordered however i bought it for purely LDON i wonder what the new equip is prolly suited for the bezerker class but i am still curious

i went to 4 stores trying to buy it & no one had it. not even really sure why since it sounds like it has mostly features for high levels that i can't even use. Smiley: confused i think i need more sleep. i probably buy it tomorrow though anyways. lol

nope, not i, and doubtful ill get it any time soon.

i probably will end up getting this expansion, but not within the next 2 months at least.

#1. its all for 50+ toons and i only have 2 toons that are 50+ atm.

#2. i refuse to pay roughly 200p an hour for a buff, hell i only pay 10-50p for kei and that can last up to 3hrs.

#3. with LDoN going down so much in xp for my nec (59th) im spending as much time as i can in T1 and T2 zones of PoP for both my 50+ toons.

#4. want my epic for my bard before i buy gOd expansion.

Not gonna buy it. I seem to be losing interest in playing EQ altogether. May even move my characters around and cancel an account. Need to save money anyways...

We got ours today. I pretty much knew we would.

It drives me crazy to try to put a group together, only to have that one person say "I don't have that expansion".

I didn't want to be that person.

Same here. Its hard enough to get everyone on the same page at the best of times. I remember what it was like in the early days of LoY, and setting up raids, there would always be at least one Cleric or Enchanter that didn't have it. And if you were a Ranger, well you can guess what happened, lol.

I did the auto download thing, and clicked the "buy" button last night. It now says that "all expansions are enabled" so I presume I have it.

Heck. I've never even been in half the places of the last several expansions, and I still pre-ordered it. Maybe someday.

Won't buy it for a long time. Haven't even been to Kunark yet although I play for 2,5 months now - guess I'm a bit slow in exploring ;-)

The Lake of Ill Omen, in Kunark used to be extremely popular for players in their 20s (level wise).

I've been spending a little time in Veksar lately, under the Lake of Ill Omen.

When we run through the zone now, we're often the only people there. I'd say there are lots of people who aren't exploring a whole lot. It actually makes me kind of sad.

Haven't bought it yet. Of course, I rarely do pick-ups with my main anyway; either guild/friends or I solo so I'm not so worried about the "Erm, I don't have that one" thing.

I have to admit to a twinge of regret when I learned the Candyland tribute values of stuff (and I think someone said it was nerfed with the patch this morning), but on the plus side I moved about 1500pp worth of 10-100pp items out of my bank, so yay me Smiley: lol
