It's a bunch of 0's and 1'sFollow

Afternoon Everyone,

This Platinum buying thing has got me thinking.....

We give Sony $12.95 a month for an account.
We dish out $29.95 per expansion.

Over the course of a year we spent the following:

$12.95 x 12 = $155.40 (If you pay by the month and not a year)
$29.95 x 3 = $89.85 (average 3 expansions per year).

Thats approx $245.00 a year that we spend on Everquest.

That's a bunch of cash!

I enjoy Everquest as a form of entertainment. It is much more fascinating to play this game then watch the garbage on TV. As far I a am concerned I will continue to pay the fees until my interest runs out.

I don't understand the reason why people by Platinum off of the internet. If you are going to invest $245.00 a year to play then wouldn't you feel better if you accomplished the goals in EQ without cheating?

Besides - one day the people of Sony will pull the plug on the servers and Everquest will be no more. Please don't blow any more money other then what you need to play the game. You would be a lot better off saving the cash, or investing it.

Just my humble opinion.
