Anybody here thinking of joining WoW when it comes out? I sure am, just wanted to see what the general oppinion was. =)

Although I am probably having the best time in my EQ career in 4 years playing, I do look forward to WoW and EQ 2. They both look great in their own way and both have interesting features. As a longtime Blizzard fan, I've only been disappointed with one of their games - Diablo 2. Even though I was disappointed (primarily graphically) with Diablo 2, it was still a solid game (at least I never experienced any problems with it).

So I hope they are successful with WoW as I know they are always thinking of the players and keeping a game fun. With that said, WoW is still a ways off (unless I can get into beta) so I plan to enjoy my EQ experience for as long as I possibly can. My wife is more interested in EQ2 while I'm leaning towards WoW...as she's the CFO in the family, I'm not sure we are going to have all these subscriptons running at the same time.

I've definately got my eye on WoW, but I may give City of Heroes a go when it comes out. I'm about 51% sure Blizzard is gonna get my ten a month.

There is a WoW forum, and I think there may possibly be plans for a wow.allakhazam.com site eventually.

It seems that everyone at work is skipping EQ2 and going to WOW. However I plan on going to EQ2. I even went out and built an uber game box just for it. I may try out WOW, dunno.... I'm still torn over which EQ1 account I will close when EQ2 comes out.
